Membership

The „Foederatio Phytotherapica Helvetica – FPTH“ connects different professional groups in the sense of a federation.

• Physicians / pharmacists with the designation FMH / FPH
  

• Naturopath / druggist with the designation of HFP / HF
  

• Research / natural scientist with the designation PhD / sc.nat.
  

• Producers / manufacturers with the designation P / H
  

• Politicians / lawyers with the designation PO / JU
  

• Education providers / students with the designation SC / ST
  

The various professional groups mentioned above are divided into three types of membership according to the bylaws.

• Active members -  are those who have a cantonal education with a cantonal professional license, a federal professional degree at the tertiary level, a federal or foreign academic degree and/or academic title in the field of school, holistic, complementary, integrative or alternative medicine or natural science research, The applicant must have acquired a cantonal professional qualification at tertiary level, a federal or foreign academic degree and/or academic title in the field of conventional, holistic, complementary, integrative or alternative medicine or in the field of scientific research, and must have completed a degree in the field of phytotherapy, phytopharmacy, ethnobotany, ethnopharmacy, ethnomedicine or an associated, equivalent course of study.
  

• Passiv members -  are those who support and pursue the tasks, goals and interests of the "Foederatio Phytotherapica Helvetica - FPTH" morally, actively or financially, in scientific research, school-, holistic-, complementary-integrative- or alternative medicine.
  

• Honorary members - are those who have been declared worthy and appointed for this honorary and/or exemplary award on the recommendation of the Board of Directors.
